- service project @ myers with durrant and stengel. scoop many mud. broke some shovels. yk how it is

- touched up (paint) and completely disassembled my new guitar

- got told we don't get a car. i want to shoot myself in the left toe.

- called my dad for his birthday! woohoo! we talked a while, and had a good time! it was sick:) love my dad dude so much. u da best padre. ain't no other padre i'd rather have

- came home, disassembled my guitar, and yeah. so that was pretty fun.

- pres and sister landis dropped off a bunch of  lamps and other stuff for elder guy. i always love seeing them!! they're so amazing

- we went to the ficklins, which was a blast as always. crazy kiddos, and bro ficklin just being a goof

- set stuff up for elder guy. i like all our new lamps

- had elder guy dropped off to us on Thursday morning, so that's litty in the city

- go to wave (quench), for drank. see many mucho other missionaries there haha twas lit.

- i tried making homemade tortillas! they failed very miserably hahaha. way too thick, not the quite right consistency. hm. but hey, it was quite fun! and still tasted pretty good:) just was a lot more like pita bread haha. and we made pork fajitas to go in it so i thoroughly enjoyed it still, at least:)

- after that we went to the saaris, apparently bro saari was super worried about us. we'll have to make sure to not be late hahaha

- finished rebuilding my guitar:)) now all i need to do is get strings, and then, well, plug it in haha

- p-day was busy today. sooo busy. i won't extrapolate on a lot of these, and they're mostly taken directly from my journal. i love you tho! i went bowling. i'm happy to report, still got it 😎

♥️Teaching Updates♥️

 - whooo whatta day. tried to meet with KK at 9 one morning, but no dice. turns out, she was there, but since we had bikes this time she didn't think we were there.... phat rip

- met with Ch... interesantè. but good. not going anywhere, but it wasn't bad. almost bashy.... she needs proof. idek bro.

- visits!!! some success!! 'richard' and 'lisona' asked us to come back!! lisona had two dogs named: little man and livy lou. And we would appreciate your prayers for them hahahaha. she was also very sick so pray for her! and richard and his roomie were as well. after we left tho, we heard lisona telling her dogs that we were the missionaries and that 'we love the missionaries' and 'they're our friends!' so that was adorable and i love her

-  went on much more many visits. met this guy named                -REDACTED-      ????? he was..... interesting hahaha. told us some stuff he probably shouldn't have about himself... idk if i should call the cops or just leave it completely alone... no lo sei rick. i feel sorta unsafe with that lol. but he said he would come to church! then,,,, he didn't. rip.

- after talking to that guy, we knocked on this members door but someone else answered! we'll call he Cali for now. but she didn't think it was a coincidence when we showed up, and let us in right away. she told us all that was going wrong, and how much Satan was attacking her, but that she knew God was protecting her. when she lived in california her neighbors were being taught by the missionaries and they would go to church with them. she has met with missionaries before, but didn't think it was her time yet. she wants to be baptized real bad, and yeah she's pretty elect and awesome.

she came to church the next day as well, and we had a 5th hour which was basically just a testimony meeting for all the adults. then, Cali stood up and bore her testimony!!! about how we showed up at the perfect time, about how she had been searching for truth, thanking the ward for being so welcoming to her, and that we would be seeing a lot more of her! she wants to do studies with us like 2 times a week and come to our group bible study on thursdays! and go to ARP! she's a legend:))

🔥My challenges for you🔥

Be still, and know that I am God.

pray. be still. just... let the world pass you by for a second. pray to God. forget everything else. just... talk to Him. He will fill you with His love, I promise:) don't worry about anything else

⚓Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.⚓

- isaiah 8:14

"And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem"

a sanctuary, a rock of offense and a stumbling block... Christ can be all for us. some are good, some are... not so good haha. if we let Him, He can be the greatest thing ever. but if we don't, if we forsake our covenants or our love for Him... then He can only bring pain, sorrow, and guilt to our lives. thinking of Him will make us remember what it used to be like, and only pain can come from not having Him in our lives. and it will stumble us.

let Him be your sanctuary:))

mucho love you all! 🤟♥️

peace out girl scouts
