! welcome back to the semi-half-monthly email of the man who still has no time left to finish his email. i am so sorry for all those i didn't get to reply to today as well. love you all!

This week's summary! (for my TLDR folks) 

☆ service with some peeps. pigs, fence, fun times

☆ went street contacting with a member. good times. gave out 2 BoM's. yeet

☆ 8-ball. it's a road most WHACK tingly feelings i've ever felt... just.... premonition-ey. idk how to describe it. just... so off. so weird. jeez

☆ bore testimony in church, got to bless the sacrament again, and taught sunday school! 

Stories

- did some dope farm work service. throw BACK to the fruita days. i LOVE it. got to work on a fence, met some pigs, and pounded some otter pops

- went street contacting with a member and gave out 2 BoM's! it was super awesome. one of the guys was super intoxicated, but the other lady, (who we really didn't realize was breastfeeding for.... too long. kinda feel weird about that one), but she really needed it. it's cool to see people's spirits be..... hungry? they kinda seem sad but they can get the blessings which is dope.

- exchanges with e hyde. he's a stud. good times

- met corgi. best case. that is all.

- very last p-rees interviews. gonna miss that man.

- exchanges with e hanks. i have waited SO long for this opportunity. i love him

- dog peed on my shoe. she was sweet tho, just not potty trained haha. mission lyfe

Teaching Updates

- many good things happened while i was gone on exchanges haha, someone got on date, we had a dope lesson, i just wasn't there. the fun of being a DL comp lol

- miner is now off date. just don't think he's ready yet.

- had some cool exchange visits, some fun successes there, including this cool lady named....... we'll call her deby. she has sooo much faith and just needs an answer. her and miner. please pray for them!!

- we were gonna have this super promising guy. i think i mentioned how this guy told us he wanted to be baptized from his roommates phone, and then told his roommate to give us a chance. well, his name was Mark Herrick. this is extremely significant because of the fact that my dad's mother, who died about 8 months before i was born, also had a last name of Herrick. now, i don't ever reveal real names on here, and that's because Mark unfortunately passed away on wednesday. i'll explain more about this in the Jesus moment.

- had some just... MEAN people this week. idk bro. missionary lyfeeeee. takes a lot to get this uber hyper goofball down tho:)

everyone plays a part. i want you to think this week about how you are a part of it. might be nice to take a little action too:) it really is one of the most amazing things that has ever happened. so, consider yourself a part of it. and play your part:)

Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.

- my thoughts on Mark Herrick.

so, this is someone who, from a phone call: said he wanted to be baptized, preached to his best friend about us, and wanted us to come back asap. we then failed to get in contact with him. called, stopped by, tried to message the referring member to get in contact with him, nothing worked. then, we stopped by last night and found out he died from an awful infection in his arm that spread throughout his whole body, he died in surgery. i wonder now, why that happened? he was so promising. even if we had met with him sooner, he would have still had that unfortunate end. he was only in his 40's, super young guy. but God knows. He always does. all we have to do is keep trusting. we don't understand. we never will, and i personally don't think we ever should. we MUST learn to walk by faith. if we expect to know everything and have all the answers, then why did Christ even die for us? don't ever lose faith because you lack knowledge, understanding, or answers. i love you all.
