🌈Stories🤌

- Got some funny stories today! First off is one of my best friends, during combined district council, went off. it was great. i honestly can't even remember what was said, but all i know is it was funny. shoulda written a little more. oops!

- went on exchanges with Elder Graham, who i came out with! it was honestly such a blast. we have so much in common, he's really funny, and we grew up right next to each other and were on swim team together and never even knew? stayed up late talking about community. best case. it was a shorter exchange, since they live 2 hours away, so we re-exchanged at combined DC the next day to make it convenient because they would be there anyways. so, it was short, but oh well. still a blast!

- so, Sister Allen commissioned me to write a song for our mission a few weeks back, i sang it with my last district, it was honestly such a great time! i sent the video to president, and apparently he showed it at the mission leadership council. my zone leaders saw it, and that night asked me if i would write a song for our zone that we could sing in TWO DAYS at combined DC. i've written songs that fast before, for sure, but never on a missionary schedule. lo and behold, i pulled it off, wrote it the next day, and taught it to the whole zone thursday so we could all sing it. it was SO much fun!!

- combined district council was a blast! we did the song, had some great problem solving, i was told i would be a good ZL, and that everyone would put their vote in for me? yikes. i am NOT as balller as Elder Grayson Hardman, the new AP for his mission. glad to know maybe i'm doing good tho??

- so last week was halloween, and i realized i wanted to provide some context for the title. i was going as "a missionary without a sweater", because we can't really dress up as much! so yeah. redundant but funny!

- made brownies for the sisters with candy corn added in, and it's one of their birthdays this week, and another one next week! so, we might win. they dont know what's gonna hit em >:)

- i decided to rip off the top part of a metal folding chair to try and use it as a bench press. it worked, but now there's a bunch of little metal spikes that shank me, and i had to use gorilla glue to try and fix how the chair wobbles so much, and basically almost collapses on itself. it broke after one round, but hey it works! i'll provide a very funny video in the google photos album this week :)

- me and elder bales went to the church to do some facebook work one night, and found out the spanish branch was doing a day of the dead activity! a lot of missionaries were there, with their friends they were teaching! we played games, ate good food, got to know lots of non-members, it was awesome! shoutout to the spanish branch for being G's😤

- had a lit district activity today! because our areas are so far apart, we only get one district activity per transfer. big sad. but we played pickleball, ate some bomb sandwiches, then went bowling! it was so fun, i love my district so so so much. they're all fantastic, and seriously such homies. i am very blessed!

- last but not least, the title of this email. the big goof i did. so funny ðŸ˜… it was fast sunday yesterday right? so me and my comp didn't eat anything. the night before tho, we started teaching someone!! (info will come below ;)) we celebrated the same night with hot chocolate and ice cream, and i was so tired. i got on the missionary schedule, and now i get tired at like 8pm. so i was NOT thinking straight. we went to bed, did not go into the kitchen at all the next day, obviously, but that night when we broke our fast and ate dinner, i discovered that i had, in fact, in my delirious state the night before, put the milk into the plate cabinet. so, yeah. big doof over here. rip cereal for this next week cuz im all out oh my missionary funds

♥️Teaching Updates♥️

 - im coming through on my promise last week to have this section much more funn! oh boy do i have some fun news for y'all!

- first off is bro C. he's a member in our ward who is divorced, and we meet with either his ex-wife or him each week depending on who has the kids. we met with the mom that day, but felt as though we should ask and see if we could drop by his house as well. he was doing really bad actually, we were able to go over and give him a priesthood blessing! it helped a lot, i hope. but i love how the spirit works, i wasn't even thinking that would be a prompting but here we are!

- B&S! so we picked up B on saturday, as we just went over to visit. we heard her son, S, really likes nerf guns, so i brought mine over as we dropped by to see if we could meet them! we hit it off, talked a bunch, and S had a bunch of broken nerf guns that i took the liberty upon myself to completely disassemble and fix. i got the first two done, and as i was fixing the third one i decided to be very bold and ask B if we could teach her! she then asked if we could set up weekly times to meet! and if she could bring her son. it was AWESOME! and the nerf guns too i guess!

- N! this ties in with the fact that recent converts are the best. we brought our good friend Bro Ramsey over with us because hes a very recent convert and we thought he would be perfect! and then he was. we talked about angels a bunch, some cool experiences, and he just ended up telling our friend that she needed to love herself. he felt impressed to say it, and its very true! she was struggling with that, and we were able to talk about God's love for us and how He would want us to love ourselves very much. it was a beautiful lesson, and man. i love recent converts. and N!

- C&K! two very prospective friends we may start teaching soon! children of a returning member, and they are living with their aunt and uncle. one of them comes to church often, and they both have had some AMAZING miracles happen to them. one of them was supposed to have 3 teeth pulled, then he went to church and miraculously didn't need them to be pulled anymore! the other one used to have night terrors, would sleepwalk and put himself and his family in danger. he started praying, and they went away! its amazing. the aunt and uncle would love us to start truly teaching them, and we need to talk to the father as well. they participate in our weekly member lessons we share with the whole family, and i can tell they feel the spirit. its awesome!

- Bi! gonna have to start adding more letters to names, as we got more people now! Bi is a former who was labeled as not interested at all. me and Elder Bales decided to drop by, and met her and had a great time! she was super friendly, and we gave her a restoration pamphlet and a pass along card. another super awesome person we could very easily start teaching soon!

- told you this week would be packed! faith can do wonders, and God blesses us so much!

⚓Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.⚓

- i'm working on being more bold. we share the gospel, and see the blessings as we open our mouths. man, i have seen the blessings and i'm still not even being as bold as i can be!!!

that's all folks! mucho love!!
