Alrighty. Alright. All right. The time has come, once more, for the semi half monthly email of Elder Smith (AKA the skeet skater) ((have no idea where that came from tbh but enjoy))

wow. I am running out of time already as I'm typing this. I have 39 minutes left to eat dinner,, write this email, write my mission president, as long as reply to my friends and consistently text my mom. (Hi mom :))

Mask restrictions got lifted in the mission!! If you're fully vaccinated, that is. Still, i haven't had any physical contact with anyone for like,,,,, 8 weeks, as long as I've been here

so yeah thats lit. Best case

Week was good! Lots of very very hard work, not much to report. One of the lessons I said we were gonna have last week fell through, but the one I really really wanted happened! We got to know the dad, the kids are absolutely insane, but yeah it was good.

One of our people in our teaching pool called us and started bashing, so that was fun

, we got a lady who went off on us saying we didn't love gay people, (I tried to correct her and say we love absolutely everyone but she didn't seem to read my messages?) We had a guy tell us he wouldn't hear anything from us he hadn't already heard in other churches, so we sent him plan of salvation

. But he didn't seem to watch it all, only watched until the atonement cuz he got mad at us. Lol. Picked up a former tho, so thats cool! Now, we keep trying. Its what we do.

YOU'LL WANT TO READ THIS - TRUST ME

Probably the most interesting thing we had happened to us this week, happened just earlier today. We were shopping in Ross, and this guy walked up to us and started talking to us as if he knew us. He was a lawyer, looked really nice and sounded cool. He apparently used to be a member, but said that he was "detached". (Sorry if any of this is weird, I'm using voice to text to make it easier

) Anyways, he started talking to us, and told us that something we should do after the mission, is to join the military. We kept talking to him, and eventually he started talking about religion. Started mainly talking about the second coming, and he start talking about all of the races on the Earth and basically said that there was going to be another one that comes right before the second coming. So, aliens. He also start talking about life on other planets, and how the government was tracking ufos in flying saucers, and then, here comes the real kicker. He said something about: "glowing pyramids we can see in the sky"?????????? I really don't even know. I won't even get into the secret service praying to a blue hairy almond head shaped Jesus. (Apparently thats what he looks like) Interesting dude. 10/10 would talk to about glowing pyramids and aliens again.

We got cafe rio AND chick fil a this week, which was a blessing. Apparently there's gonna be a shortage of chick fil a sauce??? Elder Jensen got some at Walmart last week, but there was a lot left still. We went this week, and there was 1 single bottle left. I'll direct you to the pictures of this email for the rest of the story.

Not much else to report! We carried up a LOT of groceries in one trip, we live on the third floor and there's only stairs. Lets just say that one of my fingers was completely numb for about 15 minutes after that trip.

Anywho, gotta go! 12 minutes left! Love you all so much!!!!! Woohoo!!!
