Stories
- we went over to lou and doo to pick up the couches! but louis... lmao. i shouldn't have shown him my guitar hahahah. he went sicko mode. many f-bombs were said, a little bit of alcohol may have been drunk, but it was fetching hilarious nonetheless. bubba and holdaway came as well, so that's always fun. louis was very funny. but anyway,
- we went to give April the couch and chair, she was very grateful! our stake pres, President Bench, took us. and gotta love him as well!!!! my favorite:)
- went to Lisa's with bro stephenson, she wasn't there unfortunately. we searched around the property, and no avail. knocked and asked the guy that lives in an RV in her backyard, he said he had no clue and that he didn't talk to her. luckily, we found out that her son came and picked her up and took her to debeque. so that's way better than we thought. haven't gotten in contact with her yet, but at least we know she's okay
- for mutual, we went to heart attack some members. one of them was my favorite sister saari, who's husband we helped move out last week to live with his son so they could take better care of him. so that was sad for her, but we helped out! shoutout to my valentine
- elder guy made us this frikin delicious chicken. it was scrumptious.
- soooo snowy. much much much snow.
- made tofu for the first time
was actually pretty dang good ngl
- knocked doors with bro stephenson, absolutely nobody responded hahaha. then this one dude pulled up in hims trucc, and asked if we were "mormons". i introduced ourselves with the proper title, and he literally just said: "bye!" and walked away hahaha. oh well. don't go to apartment C i guess
- made an ALMOST vegetarian sandwich... it had cheese, veggies, and tofu for the protein... but then i added bacon hahaha.
- went to bibble stoody, i played a hymn. got a lot of cool revelation there, and also had a great time anyway!
- one night i felt like we had to do something... didn't know what tho. really had no clue. just felt like we needed to do something. then e paulk suggested we tract that one place. so, that was litty in the city. thats why we do comp unity. we tracted it, which honest to goodness... is like my first legit time actually tracting. don't get me wrong, i've knocked on countless doors on my mission, but our last MP had tracting banned and our new one just said: "if it's inspired". so, yeah. all the doors i've knocked previously i've had at least a name attached to ask about. usually it's the wrong house, so we do the whole missionary thing with whatever rando answers, but yeah. first time genuinely tracting. yeet
- had the dope jimmer fredette devo! apparently he lives in our mission??? over in denver??? crazy. p.floyd just walked up to him playing basketball in the church and asked if he'd speak to us haha it was awesome. he spoke about goal setting, teaching and commitments, and personal revelation. it was awesome:) and he tied in basketball to all of it ofc hahaha. he did a lil QnA at the end of it, and i asked his favorite scripture, as well as what he thought of the song "teach me how to jimmer" hahaha. he said he didn't know who wrote the song, but hey, good publicity right?
good stuff
- p-day! we just went sicko mode all over the place tbh. a bunch of different thrift shops, and i never found a grandma walker:( phatty rip. thrift shopping was quite fun tho:))
Teaching Updates
- we put Cali on date woohoo!! we taught about the big 3 commandments, and it went well:) she was confused on some of the Word of Wisdom things, but agreed to live it nonetheless. she said her son would possibly want to join, as well as her cousin when she gets them back around! she doesn't feel too ready yet to be baptized, but believes she can be by march 4rd, the date we extended:) wrote it down in her calendar and everything!
in another lesson, she asked some questions about tithing, the Word of Wisdom, and we told her it was done out of love for God, and she really liked that and wanted to do it a ton more after we told her that. luckily, sister ricks and wade were there helping and told her a lot about ARP and whatnot:) went over the first 3 baptismal interview questions with her, and she said yes to all of them! and what they meant to her:) she had already found a bunch of President Nelsons talks by herself, had taken notes on them, and absolutely LOVED him. she believes Him to be a prophet!! she wasn't sure if she'd be able to be baptized by march 4th, because she wanted to be 100% repentant and didn't think she could lose all of her habits by then. we invited her to pray about it, and told her she could do it with Christ:) but no worries if she didn't feel ready by then, we could push it back if absolutely needed. mainly invited her to pray! great input from sister ricks and wade too!
then.... she texted us and told us she was going to another church tomorrow. she wanted to try other ones. literally,,,,, RIGHT after she told us she knew the Book of Mormon was true, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet, that President Nelson was a Prophet. idk bro. she likes those big music churches, and apparently now wants to socialize and get a lot of friends, even tho like a week or two ago she told us that she DIDN'T want that, and wanted to have a few friends but focus on God. i don't know what changed. just overnight too. i don't know.
- called tikaboo... we haven't met with her or her 2 friends in a month, but she apparently thinks we're being too pushy. when we've reached out like once a week. to follow up on if she asked her friend when we could meet again. literally like once a week. idk bro. people are infuriating to me sometimes. i shouldn't be mad i just.... it sucks when they know it's true
- well, either way, we visited our boy dougy after all of that and that went well. he wants to come with us to church tomorrow, asked for a new BoM, and said we were welcome anytime:) so that was good! whilst in there tho... oh man. they were watching that one ninja turtles movie, the new realistic (real life) looking one. ohhhh man. he didn't turn it off for the whole 20 mins we talked, in the which the movie ended. which was a giant fight scene... idk why i didn't ask him to turn it off, but it was more of a stop by, ask when we could come share a message than a lesson type sitch. so, i didn't. shoulda, but didn't. maybe i wanted to prove to myself that i couldn't get distracted, idk haha. i glanced twice, when we walked in, (unavoidable, the TV was right there), and then one other time i don't remember why. but there were so many big noises, so many lights, it was freaking horrible on my brain. but i freaking did it. payed attention to our boi dougy the whole time, responded, didn't get distracted at all. hardest thing i ever done in my life. (not actually,,,,, but still very hard)

My challenges for you
- one of satans names is the slanderer. kinda interested me this time i read it.
slander = words falsely spoken against someone, or an abusive attack on one's character or good name
this is what Satan does. he falsely speaks against us, and tries to ruin us. my challenge this week, is to not let him! how might you do that specially?
by choosing to do good:)) treat people a little bit nicer, even those you hate. hold doors open, give someone else shotgun in the car, do something nice for someone you haven't talked to in a while. just,,,, love. no way satan can slander that. but he will, try to make you not do those things. and that will ruin you. so choose good!
Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.
