- man! Zonk Conk. big day. had some fun, some good trainings, i love elder stevens. his greenie, elder evans, is frikin litty as well. they studs.
- i gave my departing testimony... dang bro. that was weird. i remember my trainer giving his during my very first transfer. my own felt so far away. yet,,,, here i am! i don't remember half the things i said, i had practically no idea what i wanted to say except for a few things... but i talked a lot about love, about not wasting a singular moment of the Lords time, about not judging, and about just.... how beautiful my own mission has been for me. the most beautiful thing i've ever been a part of. i truly have loved it more than anything else in my life... but! i still got a few weeks left!!!!! no wasting!!!!!! trunkn't
did a musical number as well, love one another. it was pretty fun:)
- we decided to go to diorios cuz the sisters couldn't go to roosters, and we met this guy named don. he was a legend. i noticed he had one of those military veteran hats on, so i complimented it! he then started talking to us a bunch! asked us a million coll thought provoking religious questions, and has a lot of our same beleifs. i actually couldn't find a difference at all even. it was a really cool experience connecting with him, and he was funny as frik too. roasted the crap out of us by saying the reason we were on missions cuz we were all too ugly to have girlfriends hahahahahaha it was beautiful. ofc he didn't mean anything bad by it;) just jokes. gave him our contact info, he wasn't terribly interested at the moment. but i see him maybe reaching out in the future!
- started exchanges with elder durrant!
so, woke up, and then immediately went to help bro berrie jumpstart his car. so that was fun haha
we then went to colbran! i love them mesa trips. we saw the ortons, sis macdonnell, and the holyoaks primarily. it was great:))
we also went to mountain high pie, saw the ladies there again, sure do love them!! ate good pizza too
the marvin chronicles continue! hehe. got some good funny content of him. love that cat
- we went and did service with the myers!!! took all day haha but twas fun. moved a lot of wood, shoveled some ditch, split some logs. it was litty
- i also got big sicc again... feeling better by today tho! i got my comps sick tho... frikin rippee bamba
Teaching Updates
- we visited this lady named "chey". (or is she....???
) that was interesting. kinda fun tho! she can't hear anything because of the elephant man disease inside of her. many benin tumors, so still scary. but it was cool just being able to type out everything we wanted to say to her. really cool experience. we also gave her a blessing which we voice-to-text recorded so she could read it later:) gave her a BoM, some pamphlets, and she seems curious at least! so that's awesome:) since then, she's been texting me a lot and asking a lot of great questions! she's awesome:) super nice!!! and a straight homie hahaha
- Cali called us and kinda popped off, then we went over and pretty much just reset expectations. she has a TON going on right now and needs to have some of her focus on that, so she just basically moved our many meetings a week to once a week haha. so that's still pretty litty. she doesn't think she's ready to be baptized yet, and needs to get an answer from God about the truthfulness still. so, we're gonna take it a little bit slower now, cuz that's what she needs. but she said she prayed about it, and she still wants us to guide her and meet with us and study:)
is what i THOUGHT... now she said no. she wants to study on her own. i don't,,,,, i just,,,,, no lo sei rick. get back to you next week on that hahaha. such a rollercoaster
- met with Garden! She was the one elder paulk met when i was at that MLC i wasn't technically supposed to be at forever ago. she's fantastic:) we haven't been avle to meet with her for forever, but we finally got it to work out! she was very real with us, and told us she wasn't ready to come to church yet, or be a part of anything yet. she's had some bad experiences with people who say they're members, think they're better than everyone else, and then don't live the standards. she didn't want to waste our time. she would make an extremely good member, i must say. her heart is in the perfect place! she still reads the Book of Mormon, and has great faith. we said we would love to still meet with her every week, even if she wasn't ready to come to church yet. she was very appreciative of that:) it was mainly her ranting, and us trying to empathize. it ended very well tho! i love this lady!!

My challenges for you
- we talked to this one lady... she aint a fan. even when we tried to help get her records removed... not a fan. i wish,,,, man i wish people would at least let us help them - even if it's to remove their records as a member of the church. I don't want to force or push people to do whay they don't want to do. I just want to help them in the best way possible. If that means getting some healing away from the church... I know that this is the place where the best most beautiful healing is found... but if people can't/don't need that right now I understand that too. I just wanna help.
So please... let me know... how can i best help you?
