🌈Stories🤌

- moyle's have some crazy kiddos. love em to pieces. they had me read their scripture madlib we made during the lessons like 3 times to them, it was so funny

- kinda uneventful day. we biked up to help a member moving out and packed her car, and we packed it to the BRIM bro. it was crazy. but lit. her dog did NOT like us lmao. but we got a free crockpot and a phat stack of food! her car was so full. so full.

- went to ark and wells fargo with the elders, elder brown is once again just one of the funniest mfers i ever met. had a good time at ark, talked to this one hombre with a guitar shirt on. i got a piano tie.

- we came home, ate, then booshed to sister thompsons up SUCH A STEEP HILL GOOD GRIEF. but sweeeeeeetest lady ever. has a cute dog. she's adorable. AMAZING testimony and story, and LOVES the temple. she's the best.

- went and set up a million chairs with the olsens, bro gunn, bro bench, bro conklin, and others! it was fun. i can now say i've taped carpet down to a gym floor. hm. the things you learn

- my dad dropped and dashed my bike off to me:) got better bike:)) Godspeed padre, Godspeed

- went and saw bro saari. gave him an incredible blessing. it was very surreal and Spirit filled. i've never really blessed someone who... might return home soon. yeah.... he turns 95 soon. awesome guy

- we saw pear park and got all the youth to ask elder abar what color their ties were cuz he's color blind. had this deaf dude talk to me and he was superrrrrr sweet. hard to understand but man that guy was sure a sweetheart i love him! and elder abar was very frustrated by the end of all the youth. it was quite funny

- had a dope sacrament meeting. once again, i ALWAYS just LOVE fasting cuz of how strongly i feel the Spirit. i didn't do much... felt inadequate. but that's okay God loves me!

- we went to eat with the bello's, sister bello made tamales from scratch. mmmmmmmmm. they have a FRIK ton of fish. like a LOT. i also got to meet an aztec dog??? skinless. little tuft of hair on the head. still a dog tho, acted exactly the same haha. so therefore, still cute!

- the music devo! i haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. we had just a great time. i love all those elders so much hahahaha. i drank too much milk

- i convinced the sisters that i was with elder brown cuz of my impression of him in our phone call. yeet

- the sisters now think we had an illegal sleepover with the elders cause of my impression. what

- had a good day tho, went to the other zone to get my bike fixed, went to cabelas and got a cute shirt, played blow pong with the district, (sounds weird but really fun game), and then just vibed. played the piano n stuff. yup. that's about it

- went to help tikaboo and her roomies put up the floating tv or whatever. it was kinda fun! fun people as well:) she gave us these dope bracelets and necklaces!! love her:)

- rolled into the gilbert zoom conference with my shades and my sprite cranberry in my mason jar, both zones. we were vibing. saw shummy and many other homies

- we went and got wendys, they had a frikin good mozzarella stick burger thing haha. it slapped tho. this rando guy was sitting and elder brown said i should go talk to him. he wasn't about it, and didn't want a fist bump. big sad. oh well

- training meeting was awesome! sister gilbert is awesome, elder gilbert is hilarious. talked a lot about his mission in japan, and being a good trainer.

- ELDER LUNT GOT TO STAY WITH US FOR THE NIGHT WOOHOO! we had too much fun. weird workout techniques, a mega bed, (one of which had completely deflated by the morning), and just good times. man i love having friends

- zone conference with Elder Gilbert was amazing! i won't write a bunch about it here, but what i loved and remembered the most was about:

        - letting God prevail, and our divine identity

        - we literally have a certificate to minister. in the certificate it says that we are already in full faith and fellowship. pretty cool

         - focus on our companion, and helping them. can't do work if you don't work together

         - your piles of knowing, and not knowing. they will balance out and the knowing will begin to outweigh the unknowing. but we cannot wait for it to just happen. we must move forward in faith, and let God answer the questions as you go along. He will in time. we can't let that slow us down

i loved it. i got to see 3 special witnesses of Christ this week. shake their hands, talk to them. it was amazing. i'll never forget my mission. never.

- met elder bubbas dad. he was dropping off frozen pheasant for him. it was whack but also cool

- i was big tire. big schleep. so, the only reasonable thing to do before our service project was to dry scoop prework and drink lemon juice and apple cider vinegar

- stake conference! elder pingre and kerr of the 70 were there. it was lit. they're super loving and awesome guys:) and brother bench, one of my favorite people got called as the new stake president! i lowkey called it 2 weeks ago. he's an amazing guy:)

♥️Teaching Updates♥️

 - tikaboo: stopped by, gave cookie, she down. the neighbors across the street were drug dealing the whole time hahaha, SO many cars came and went from that one house

went and saw her again later in the week, it was SO fetching COLD. i was freezing bro, and that's frikin rare.  but anyway, we had a good talk and she wants the gospel i can tell. she's dope! she gave us a can of taco bell refried beans for free. i put in in my bikes water bottle holder. bean holder now

- went and saw D! started teaching her. cool lady, although thought we worshipped on saturday?? kinda whack. but oh well, she wants to get baptized really bad. don't think she understands why yet so we'll have to get to that later hehe

- not much news on anyone else, unfortunately. funny story tho: we tried to stop by L's, the one lady that was currently in our teaching pool when we got here, but she was asleep at like 4:00 haha. theres a guy who lives in an RV in the backyard that got very scared when he saw us, we kept seeing his head pop up then back down lol. must've thought we were government or something tho cuz he was very friendly when we introduced ourselves. so that was fun

- we went on some visits on exchanges, this guy had,,,,, an old 50's corvette and it was SO cool. SO cool bro. he had political stuff PLASTERED all over his windows hahaha it was BAD. then he ended up being really sweet and nice?? confuzzled but oh well haha

- went and saw lou and doo! anyone remember them from forever ago? massive moving project me and another elder did practically by ourselves with a smoker and a 60 year old?we started teaching them in the other area! woohoo!

- helped tikaboo tetris her storage unit, which we slayed. had a good meeting after. talked about prayer and why the BoM was written and whatnot:) testify of Christ! Spirit brought to remembrance some good stuff

☀️Spotlight☀️

- fombaaaaa ily. i'm sorry about ur taco   :( ur the frikin best tho bro. i heccin love ya

- all my friends. y'all are my favorite. man i miss u so much, i can't wait to see you all again!

🔥My challenges for you🔥

- had a conversation that went like this:

'hey brother! how was your day?'

'lousy.'

and later on i thought, didn't say this, but i thought

'does it have to be?'

this week i invite you to look at your mindset. mindsets are everything. but make it better! take something, anything you have been thinking negatively on, and make it a positive in your mind:) look on the bright side!

if u wanna hear about the time i convinced myself that some headaches were fake and they went away, let me know hehehehe

the brain is a powerful thing:)

⚓Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.⚓

- today i want to talk about consecration!

part of the story of the brother of jared is when he brings the stones to Christ so he could give them light!

Ether 2:22-23 says:

"...Behold, O Lord, wilt thou suffer that we shall cross this great water in darkness?
And the Lord said unto the brother of Jared: What will ye that I should do that ye may have light in your vessels?..."

and later on, Ether 3, 1-4 say:

"And it came to pass that the brother of Jared ... did molten out of a rock sixteen small stones; and they were white and clear, even as transparent glass; and he did carry them in his hands upon the top of the mount, and cried again unto the Lord, saying:
O Lord, thou hast said that we must be encompassed about by the floods. Now behold, O Lord, and do not be angry with thy servant because of his weakness before thee; for we know that thou art holy and dwellest in the heavens, and that we are unworthy before thee; ...  nevertheless, O Lord, thou hast given us a commandment that we must call upon thee, that from thee we may receive according to our desires.
... Nevertheless, thou hast been merciful unto us. O Lord, look upon me in pity, and turn away thine anger from this thy people, and suffer not that they shall go forth across this raging deep in darkness; but behold these things which I have molten out of the rock.
And I know, O Lord, that thou hast all power, and can do whatsoever thou wilt for the benefit of man; therefore touch these stones, O Lord, with thy finger, and prepare them that they may shine forth in darkness; and they shall shine forth unto us in the vessels which we have prepared, that we may have light while we shall cross the sea."

now, how does this relate to consecration? simple! God doesn't tell us what we need to do. we do what we can and give it to Him. it's not that we have to give up the things we like to do, or who we are. unless it goes against the commandments, we'll be fine! we just have to consecrate it to God, and He will in turn give it 'light', and bless it for us to help us more!

alright everyone, that's all i got. hope you enjoyed a longer one, we need those every once in a while!

mucho love to you all! ðŸ¤Ÿ♥️
