This week's summary! (for my TLDR folks)
☆ some very interesting service
☆ brought over my bench press to the new apartment hahahaha
☆ bikes! ohhhh bikes. i need a new bike. yup.
☆ loving the rain and biking in it are two completely different stories...
☆ already some good success!
☆ good members, good food, good legs soon enough
☆ i wore a skirt then had to not do that very quickly hahaha
☆ bowling again! been like 7 months... still got it tho 
Stories
- on one of our last days, one of our favorite families, the gonzalezes, took us out for ice cream! they have a cute small baby:))
- mimi.... ohhhhhhhh man. wow. she uh... isn't all the way there. basically needed us to pack her whole house for her.... we called the other elders to help out, and it was a very fun time i will not lie. she was however.... a little insane. not all the way there, like i said. sweet lady tho! wanted to break into a storage unit to put her stuff into.... welp.
- brought over ALL my stuff to the apt. it was a fun last trip with paco. miss him 
- transfers! what a day. finished up packing, then dipped. it was raining HARD, so we tarped up all the stuff. got to transfers RIGHT before the transfer bus. said goodbye to some homies, said hello to some new ones! my new comp is a stud.
- we didn't have our bikes, so the ZL's took us to our apartment and then they came back with the bikes. we had to fix the brakes on both of em. man. they kinda suck lowkey. but alas, estar bien. we had some appointments to go to, but it was POURING rain. and i didn't have a sweater or jacket i could wear. trench coat won't work for a bike. and the only jacket i had was my massive puffy one so i opted to not wear it. i mean, i love rain! right? not biking in jt when it's under 40 degrees. yikes. bone cold, soaked down to everything, it was quite miserable. still enjoyed the rain, but not the cold quite as much. and the appointment we had biked to wasn't even home hahaha. so we went back, i got my jacket, and we went to the church.
- saw elder bales and his trainee there, i finally have a grandson!! they're biking too. no helmets tho. we have extra, we'll give em to em.
- went home. ate dinner. warmed up. and went back out to our next appointment! still raining hard. fun family tho, the ficklins! they have some crazy kiddos. dad has a cool laugh. the kids know tai-kwon-do. idk how to spell it. but yeah the 8 year old took down her mom, it was hilarious. they also gave us farm fresh eggs!
- then it was snowing! we went and saw the schwinns, the family i ate with in the GRAND-MELODY-PARK area:) they're still awesome. and cool little miracle, the eggs in the backpack fell and didn't even get cracked! now one! yay! but yeah the snow was fun-ish. just couldn't see like a thing haha
- had our first district council, that was fun! new district and some cool people:) it was pretty good. i felt the Spirit a TON while we were talking, especially about the no effort is wasted thing. it was a great time:)
- best part of the day. I found some old sister clothes, and some old sister's skirts hahahaha. i put on the skirt cuz it was fun. then... a knock at the door. B R U H. WORST timing ever bahahahahaha. i leaped into the room and ripped the skirt off and uh, yeah. it was very funny
- had a fire weekly planning, went a while cuz i was explaining pretty much everything to elder wright. love the kid tho, he asks some great questions and i love answering em. had a fire comp inventory, and our unity and connection feels like it just SHOT up after that:)
- had some visits, biked around and hit up some dope members. they're all awesome so far, got some crazy kiddos which we always love:)
- went to walmart to get bike stuffs. good times. talked to this guy named dave, he wasn't interested. sure loved talking about how much he hated smart phones and video games tho hahaha
- thank goodness for daylight savings! whoop! sleep in.
- biking up steep hills is,,,,,,, so fun. we got a heccin chonker nearby and it's a hill to get to this one awesome member, but they fed us AND we had a lesson recently. so went on that bad boy twice haha
- went bowling! that was fun. i got 107 as a high score, so nowhere NEAR where i used to. but we had a good time all teasing each other and whatnot:)
Teaching Updates
- Sal n co: said goodbye to the dad, he was awesome. had a good discussion with him, and he was very sad to see us both go as well.
- dabecc: she was sad, but we gave her pumpkin bread. she said she would freeze half of it for us to all eat together when we all met up again hahaha.
- the dubs: cried when we left. big sad. i blessed their home, and brother dub. gave the promise he would enter the waters of baptism, with the Spirit whispering it in my ear. it was kinda insane. love those people so much
- sh: alright, so basically, church was lit. we bore our testimonies, and then after that was over we went to class. had a prompting to leave class and go out in the foyer to talk to this one lady who wasn't having a good time, she had been taught by missionaries in the past but didn't seem too keen on talking to us. although, she did bring a friend to church!! we saw the friend outside and went and shared the whole restoration with her and she was super interested!
- donwhit: got a referral for this lady, and she responded like right away! and was super interested as well! set something up for tomorrow at 4:)
