This week's summary! (for my TLDR folks)
☆ gave a cool blessing
☆ exchanges 
and the biggest frikin fly i've ever seen
☆ did i mention we got an anti book from someone in our teaching pool... brings a WHOLE new meaning to "never judge a book by it's cover"... and by that i really mean that looks can be deceiving... which also doesn't help you.... enjoy the story below 
☆ God's timing is very important.... in the most inconspicuous ways
☆ had a really cool bible study live where quite a few non-members actively participated in!!
☆ young men's activity but the young men is silent
☆ cut down MANY trees
☆ literally got tied to a peach tree
☆ EASILY one of the most INSANE days of my mission
☆ had a lightsaber battle
☆ new friend to church again:)
☆ dabecc and i are connected by the Holy Spirit. not.... not in a weird way
☆ fish. SUCC

Stories
- on exchanges with Elder Hoehne, we found a giant fly. i hit that sucker FOUR TIMES with a nerf gun and it did NOTHING. eventually the fifth hit got him on the ground, where Hoehne SMACKED him real hard several times with a napkin. bigger than a quarter my bros. frikin huge. yuck.
- we were about to leave the church and visit dabecc. as we were walking out, talked to this one guy who we realized was crying. he told us that his house burned down recently, he was almost out of gas, and that he wanted to do something not great. elder owens called the bishop while i tried to talk to him. we gave him a blessing, got him hooked up, and then got in our car. there was nothing else we could've done. turns out he's super anti, and goes against the church. but he turned back to Christ when he needed to. God's timing tho... if we had left to make a call we stayed to make instead it wouldn't have happened. yikes.
- y'all seen my wednesday night bible study live on FB? go check it out!! 6:30 every wednesday night. had some GREAT interaction on it this week, two nonmembers!! answered some good questions of theirs as well:)) and thanks for joining too mom hehe 
- we went to a young men's activity but all the young men failed to show up. so twas just us vibing with the leaders, moving some dressers for this one lady. good times
- helped a member cut down SO many elm trees. and then the pigs ate it all in a matter of like half an hour. man, those dudes are crazy
- did a whole day collbran trip. sooooooooo beautiful. visited the a's, had some of the most peace i've felt in nature for a while. also the fact that they were amazing. wow. they also had a puppy:))))) they knew they needed to get back to church. and! they! will! also visited some other peeps. we had a total of 22 people planned to visit, got to 3. wow. God's area book is WAY different than ours hahaha. on our way up too, we saw a guy on the side of the road with his hood up. talked to him, pushed his car across the VERY busy 50mph road, and shared a lil message with him. super frikin cool dude. he was dope. easily one of the most insane days of my mission. CRAZY long drive, crazy cool members, crazy beautiful place.
- dipped up to collbran for sacrament. they haven't had sacrament up there for around 10 years. very pretty drive! saw some big horn sheep. saw a lot of cool people at church, the a's came, the O's, the w's. sister W wants her 8 year old to be taught and baptized, so that's lit. bro holyoak gave a hilarious talk, and it was really good.
- okay, we spent frikin all of p-day on the mesa. i was the only one out of the four of us elders that went that caught a fish. it was rough. we were up there for SO long. i lost 3 lures, and on the hike back the whole sole of my boot fell off. so i walked 2 miles with zero support on my right foot. ouch. hazzy, the glue finally came off. only took a year hahahaha
Teaching Updates
- a recap on everyone in our teaching pool rn. we got Dabecc, Bro Shed, Kev, Colty boi, Ant man and fam, the Koopa Troopas, (well, just their son in the pool. rest of the fam is inactive members. ye). Sal n Co, the Smiths, Frog Bus Lady, frankfurter, and the Vdubs. of the progressing variety, we have:
- Dabecc! she's great. she's gonna take a while but seriously loves us and loves the church. literally last time we visited her she ripped out a random page of a calendar and asked me to circle a date. no clue why, it was super dark so i couldn't see the paper, but i circled a random day. guess what day it was??? Jesus. Christs. actual. birthday. April 6th. holy moley bro. we both thought that was pretty cool. she wants to come back to church too but needs to help her kiddos get to work on sundays, which is mildly unfortunate. but, the desire is there so that's cool
- Kev! he's the guy the inactive member brought the other week, who we started teaching that day cuz we gave him a blessing. he lives out of our area, but, we also don't have missionaries where he does live currently. so, we get to keep him 
lessgoooooooooo i love this guy. super slow of speech, but man is he cool. totally understands everything. has had some real cool experiences in his life as well! he came to church again yesterday, and came to both hours! then, i think they went to the church meeting where he lives too?? not sure about that. but it was pretty cool. dope guy
- Sal n Co are new, the mom, (Sal), already believes in the Book of Mormon so that's cool! n Co, (& company, as in the rest of the fam), is coming along to it:) they're the ones who gave me a uh, guitar with the confederate flag on it hahaha. good times tho
- Ant man n fam are dope, the big fam we started teaching recently. need to get back over there but hey we're in a lot better contact with them already! we got the wifeys number so that helped a lot
- gave a blessing to Frog Bus Lady. that was cool. she said during it she kept envisioning herself in a laying down position and sitting up. and then when we said amen she said she sat up and stayed there. wow. kinda sick. she's way committed, so that's cool. pray for her to get work off!
- the Koopa Troopas (KT) are dope. elder owens goes ham with them, he's a teaching machine already. they love us, we have great "philosophical" discussions as bro KT calls it, and yeah. i got tied to a peach tree by the two youngest while elder owens went ham on bro KT, so that was fun. it... they tied up my wrists real good. did not feel nice lmao. anywho,
- of the maybe not so much progressing variety:
- Bro Shed. kinda staying where he's at. keep praying for him please! he needs it. we might just get him some good member friends and let him loose for a while. sad but what may need to happen
- Colty boi. man. he is way too inebriated too often when we call him. told us he didn't believe in the moon landing? whack. got him a whole Resto tho, wonder if he'll remember any of it. he's super grateful for us praying for him to get home safe and he did tho, so that's cool!
- frankfurter. gave us an anti book. still down to read and pray about the BoM tho? i guess? i told him that i could prove every point in that book wrong, but i didn't want to. i went by faith, not fact. and he should too. The Spirit is the most important thing, always. go check my Jesus Moment if u wanna see that more in depth!! but the anti book he gave us looks SUPER innocent on the front. even has a pic of the SLC temple. but, alas, it is filled with crap. so annoying. it's all crap, obviously, but i hate how they did it. they even quoted a past prophet on the back, which quote talks about if the Book of Mormon is false, then Joseph Smith wasn't a prophet, the church isn't true, yadda yadda yadda, but they left out the second half. which (paraphrasing) says: but if it IS true, and we will tell you it is, then Joseph Smith WAS the prophet of the restoration. the church IS true. something like that. so annoying. never judge a book by it's cover goes two ways, i guess.
- the smiths. hard to get in contact with. been about a month since we've taught em. mmmmmm so annoyingggggghhgg i KNOW they can see our calls and texts bro. i KNOW it. frikin re
- Vdubs. similar situation as Smiths. we can text em, just can't pin em down. they also have covid rn. so that's annoying
Spotlight
- frikin uhhhhh elder hanks. love this man with my whole heart. best friend for sure
- all the people that i, once again, never got to this p-day. i do be doin the big apologize we were on a mountain from like 9:30-5:00 today

My challenges for you
- create! no matter what it is. even if you're not creative at all. create something! i promise you'll be super happy with whatever it is. just... make something. come close to loving it as much as your Heavenly Father loves you. it makes a pretty cool and big difference in your outlook on life and yourself!!
