moni anthu! welcome back to the semi-half-monthly email of a new dad². yes, i have another son  his name is elder owens and i love him. this one will be short, but have some cool stuff in it!

Stories

- went and did service for brent kurr, he showed us his dope corvettes. and a 1960 cadillac. it was frikin dope. we pressure washed his house, that was satisfying and fun! president landis is also just my favorite person ever. frikin love him.

- did service for these one people, just moved a bunch of random stuff.... randomly. in their front yard. just..... furniture, everywhere. kinda fun tho! wore a batman mask i found

- i was in a weird mood one night, so i took off both the bathroom doors for the pear park elders, then i deep cleaned the entire car. we killed many a cockroach with car wax. just booshed. cleaned out the vacuum cleaner as well. good times. hid some stuff, messed around. good times bro, good times. i also had to shower without a door.... pranked myself there didn't i?

- found out who we're training! i got elder owens, he's such a stud. and a GREAT missionary:)

- had some fun times. most recent would be our district activity today, where i ALMOST hit a deer on the way up that YEETED its life in front of our car, hiked to the "lost lake", (found it), and fished again! caught about 5-6 today, and kept a few and fried em up! man, it was dope.

Teaching Updates

 - started teaching a family of 5 last monday night! so that was awesome:) i'll have more info next week! super dope family, one of them only speaks spanish but still lit. they are super willing to be in contact with us!!

- elder owens went HAM with the koopa troopas. it was sick. his first day, he went sicko mode inviting and feeling the spirit. he was SO excited after that.

- bro shed. oh man. started out as it normally does, him talking about a little bit of politics, random things. got into the lesson, and it was just originally gonna be a small lil thing about enduring to the end primarily. we also read the articles of faith with him, and then the spirit literally went sicko mode. i don't remember how, but we got on the topic of the Atonement, of faith, of the Spirit and baptism. all the good stuff. bro shedron mentioned that he felt some guilt. that he thought about his mistakes often. i then saw the immense crushing pain on him. bro shed is NOT an emotional guy. very.... not to say this in a mean way, but more plain. he talks mostly monotone, gets excited about something now and then, but for the most part is very.... straight lined. he's funny and cool, but yeah. the Spirit was incredibly strong. we told him the way to be clean, to feel that weight of sin released. it was through baptism, and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

- had an AMAZING day at church. four less-actives, almost all of them brought people too! one of them brought her friend up after, and asked for a blessing for him. we asked if we could share with him our message after we gave the blessing, and why we can give blessings. he agreed, we met with him, and he asked US for a Book of Mormon!! it was amazing. i love people.

- i totally forgot to finish my shoutout to elder gustafson last week. i am sorry my brother in Christ, i will finish it... next week... heh....

- elder owens!! my newest son. i love him. a powerhouse already, has SUCH  a fire to him:)) i love training.

My challenges for you

- catch a fish. eat it yourself. hits different

Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus.

- i realized that i don't really feel... guilt. i don't have that crushing weight. and... i want to share that with others as much as i can. wish i could elaborate on this more, but alas, out of time once more ;)
