science rules! welcome back to the semi-half-monthly email of kowbee, who is so very sick. oh dear. this might be a trip. prepare to get roasted, way too much information, and nothing you expected, because ALL filters are off, and i'm just going for it. YEET THE SKEET FEET

This week's summary! (for my TLDR folks)
☆ mini transfers
☆ i lost Elder Miskin... but gained Elder McLelland! lived the trio life for a few days 
☆ we got an industrial size cooking pot
☆ made my grandma's fudge:]
☆ big rain
☆ our service has been so bad recently. pray for us
☆ the fireman, once again!!!! 
☆ did some service, and ended up hearing all the differences between wood and plastic, how methane gas works, and who even knows what else. & met a very cute dog
☆ all our new ward contacts! and.... all our new ward contacts....
☆ kankers, jaw problems, and strep throat oh my
☆ virtual zone conference with us as the only virtual people
☆ got roasted the crap out of by a dentist
☆ walmart changed my order >:(
Stories
- had mini transfers! im gonna have to go fast on these but yeah. drove to GJ to pick up Elder McLelland! there was a lot of changing around in the mission. first ET i've actually ever been a part of!
- but yeah, my new comp is Elder McLelland!! i'll love and miss Elder Miskin greatly, but he's off to do so many great things:))
- i made my grandma's fudge, but grabbed a giant cooking pot before i did this time! it was NOT a disaster:)
- it did the big rain. made me the big hap. it's seriously only rained like 4 times since i've come to montrose. y'all have heard every single time it has cuz of how excited i get. heck yeah. when it rains
- service does not work. and i'm so sick that we can't go anywhere. pray for our missionary work
- wow it worked, we've still been doing great work! texting so many members mainly, and asking them to share things with others! seen great success already:))
- we did service for these guys helping take things to a landfill, and got filled with a whole other type of trash. nahnah jkjk, hahahaha but he did tell us so much stuff that didn't exactly make sense. like building houses out of high grade plastic? it was a great time tho, AND we met a dog named grizzly who was very cute. so best case.
- we have SO many new people in our ward. SO many. wish us luck, please.
- so, i thought i had strep throat. luckily, i do not! but i have some sort of big ol nice virus. so that sucks. we had SO much service set up this week. and y'all know i love nothing more than service. i'm the kinda guy to be off the mission and still ask anyone if i can help them move. i love it so much. so this SUCKS. i also keep getting MASSIVE kankers. would not recommend. would recommend however, healing them using a cooking ingredient used for canning? it works i guess hahaha
- had to do zone conference virtually yesterday. couldn't hear much, yet somehow still got a lot of good stuff! but being carried around by president on his laptop was quite fun!
- i (one of my comps) took really bad pictures of my teeth and the dentist guy, Elder Call, responds and says "those are TERRIBLE photos!!" so that was like the highlight of my week
- had to order walmart online cuz big sicc, and they literally substituted my order with different things. and won't let me change it. hecc i'm never doing this again, sorry kaela i know you love it
Teaching Updates
- best new teaching update is the Fireman!! remember last week when we started teaching him?? well, now he's on date 
we had an amazing lesson on the plan of Salvation, and he loved it. accepted a straight hard baptismal invite. it was so awesome! he understood everything, didn't even have any questions!
- i wish i had more for you all. i really did. i guess co, of kho&co went to church like.... two hours away???? that was a fun surprise!

My challenges for you
- now this may be either the sickness letting all my true feelings out, or it may be my sickness making me say things without thinking about it. the message i have is this:
do everything now. live the gospel. i plead with you. i'll get down on my knees and cry until my eyes shrivel up from all the moisture receding. this. is. THE MOST. important thing you can EVER do. just go to church. just read your scriptures. pray.
His plan is the ONLY one. there is absolutely no other way, nor name given under heaven, whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. if you know what you need to be doing, DO IT. i do apologize to my non-member friends on here, you may not understand this as well. to put it as plainly and simply as i can, (for both member and nonmember friends reading this);

He did EVERYTHING for you. so why would we ever do anything to go against that? i am not speaking out to anyone specific when i say this, i just have to get it off my chest that there is nothing more important than this. idk who needs to hear it. but at least someone does, otherwise i wouldn't be saying it. absolutely nothing the world offers us will be better than what Christ does. i will now get off my 10 foot long soap box
