๐ŸŒˆStories๐ŸคŒ

- had a LIT CDC. so much faith. so much expecting of miracles, as was mentioned in general conference!! it literally gave us the momentum to accomplish many amazing things this week. never underestimate a good meeting!

- so, our DL is not spanish anymore, (the DL area got changed), but one of the other spanish elders got yoinked so they're in a trio right now. so, when i went on exchanges, it was still spanish speaking! because we were in both of their areas. it was a great time! i made them pasta and cookies, and we played soccer for our workout in the morning. i can confidently say i didn't do too bad, although the spanish elder was kinda sorta fantastic and megged me WAY too many times for it to be okay. (i'm sorry dad...) butttttt anyway, i got the chance to bear my testimony in spanish once more, luckily i still had it and was able to read from it! i also extended an invitation in spanish to another family we visited, and they seemed impressed! so impressed in fact, that they did not happen to comment on the invitation at all. hm. either way, exchanges were a good time with Clark Avondet! if any of my LP friends remember the homie:)

- so, i finally went to the dentist because my bottom retainer of my teeth has been broken for.... a few years........ but anyway, the way i solved that loose wire flappin around in my mouth was kinda to... shove it in my gums in between two of my teeth! the dental assistant lady was horrified but also couldn't stop laughing when i told her that. maybe not the smartest choice by ya boi kob, but hey, it worked! gotta give me props for creativity at least. and one of my favorite members fixed the wire so best case!

- general conference was SO good. the recurring themes i picked up were:

missionary work

becoming as a child

peace

loving others, no matter the religion

suicide prevention (one of my favs)

covenants and ordinances

momentum!

and probably more but those were the ones i loved! it was so amazing. i beg of you to watch it!! i have...... a lot of thoughts on it, as you all may know. they're all down there near the bottom! read if you want, i did put a lot of time into it ๐Ÿ˜…

- we also had an amazing Sunday night devotional! we all were invited to share our thoughts and questions..... so you know ya boi was literally way ahead of the time to raise his hand and was the first to speak. i talked about Uchtdorfs talk, and about consecration and sacrifice. only thing is, we were asked to make it 30 seconds. and you all know i can talk WAY too fast. like seriously. way too fast. so i'm sure i was very unintelligible, but hey, i made a promise once to always share my thoughts and you best believe i keep my promises. and love talking too much wheeeeeeeee

♥️Teaching Updates♥️

 - OH. MY. GOODNESS. Y'ALLLLLLLLLL we had the most amazing thing ever. We're there with our lesson with the Fireman, right? he's just so ready. we tell him we want to move his date up. we ALL get on our knees, including the whole family of four for fellowship that we had, and Fireman says a BEAUTIFUL vocal prayer for him. and, tells us his date should be the 16th of april. a whole THREE weeks before we thought he would be. MY GOODNESS HOLY HANNAH. WOOOOHAHAOHAOHOHWIHWOHOWSH. it was SO amazing!!!!! not only that, but our member goes to put it in her calendar, and tells us this might freak us out. she shows us her phone, where she had typed in the first three letters of his name. and it says: "Fireman's Baptism". HOLY MOTHER OF A SONLESS GOAT. SHEEEEEEEEEEEESH. then! then! then! we went over on sunday to eat lunch with them because we had one approved meal during conference weekend, and teach him. then like EVERY SINGLE THING we talked about was in the final session of conference!!!!! it was so amazing. GOD IS GOOD. HE IS SO GOOD. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO

- the fly fisherman called us, and told us he was ready to dedicate EVERYTHING to God! i have faith and high hopes for him. he has accepted the invitation to be baptized, but we aren't quite sure when yet. so exciting!!

- Berry watched all of conference as well! lets go!

- our good new friend Kip who we got from the old spring creek sisters is dope too! he has such a desire to read the BoM, we just have no clue how to easily get in contact with him. but hey, he loves the Book of Mormon so best case! it's very true, dontcha know.

๐Ÿ”ฅMy challenges for you๐Ÿ”ฅ

As I have loved you. i thought about this phrase for just a second. i realized quickly that Christ doesn't mean 'because'. He literally means 'as'! we shouldn't just love others because He loved us. we should love them the same exact way He loved us!! challenge is to love others the way Christ wuld! always be forgiving. always show love first before any anger. I hope you know i'm trying to do it too!

⚓Every minute, every moment...there was Jesus
