Also, WHY do I get so sad when Book of Mormon characters die?? Like, it's been hundreds of years. so many. but like, Captain Moroni, the GOATest of all the goats, DIED AT 43 DAWG. 40. 3. that just ain't right. dang.
This week's summary! (for my TLDR folks)
☆ apparently, i'm just a dishwasher blonde

☆ got BEANED by a pickleball. i promise it's not a hickey
☆ drove on the most dangerous road in colorado

Stories
- shorter week this week, partly cuz it was slightly uneventful, also slightly because it's only been 6 days instead of seven. anyway,
- got roasted at my haircut and called a "dishwater blonde" got no clue what that means. she was too nice for it to be an insult.... but then again..... was it??? i got no clue.
- went on exchanges to Naturita, all the way out in the middle of nowhere. the elders live in a pink trailer about a mile away from anyone else, and it's so cool. we had a good time, and because there's nobody around, the stars are AMAZING. I love it. but yeah it was a great time! heard some insane stories of guns being pulled on missionaries and whatnot. that's not even the worst one. heh.
- so, on exchanges, its hard to find. luckily, the ward does pickleball, and invites nonmember friends! so, I played some mad pickleball, and the guy beaned me SO hard in the neck and jaw. it was super funny, he felt really bad. Maybe that's why he said he would go to church. hm. nah just kidding, he was super nice! there'll be a funny pic on the google photos!
- out to naturita, you drive on some sketchy roads. Our beloved district leader decided to go 115 earlier in his mission, so he is NOT allowed to drive anymore. so i was driving, and went on the most dangerous road in CO!
- after exchanges, we all got knockoff nerf guns at the family dollar nearby, and just had a blast. took our whole lunch hour just nailing each other. funny pics and vids will be in the google photos as well.
- so C, who we picked up last week, has a son named Paul who's a returning member. He's the best. came and watched our talks, gives us random food, and he's on an extremely weird diet from his dialysis so he's got some way cool whack recipes. He shares them all with us tho, so i'm not complaining!
- we did service for a member, got to check out a sick 65' mustang, and they can things for fun and NEED to cycle through them so we got LOADS of canned jams, soups, applesauce, relish, you name it. so sick.
Teaching Updates
- BR&S! S is in another state with his dad right now, but BR's lesson last night was FANTASTIC. she felt the spirit so strong when we talked about Joseph Smith that she giggled a little bit. It was great! she isn't feeling too well tho, so prayers would be much appreciated.
- N! always doing great. She always talks about how we are the angels in her life, when in reality the only angel is her. She needs MANY prayers though, so any would be much appreciated.
- C! She did not want to come to church. not much new on her this week haha. just hung out with her son.
- J! the coolest thing from this week. so, me and Elder Bales were chillin at our apt, doing some weekly planning, and we get a text from the sisters. here's exactly what it said:
"Get to the church now
We have someone that you need to meet that will be at your ward in the morning
Non Member"
and then one more:
"HURRY!!!!"
so, naturally, we skrrted to the church. TIWI's GPS turned off, so I most definitely did not speed. that would most definitely be irresponsible, even for a good cause such as the Lord's work. We got to the church in about 3 minutes, (the drive's about 5), the sisters were setting up for a baptism, we talked to i swear the most ANIMATED lady i have ever met, it was so funny and awesome. We introduced ourselves, talked to her for a little bit, and then he said: 'see ya at church tomorrow!' we forgot to get her number, so we were a little worried, but she just sauntered in the next day like she owned the place. and she did. Luckily, Elder Bales and I were speaking as well! best case. :)) miracles do just fall out of the sky!

- Sister Izzy Skousen, got her mission call for tonight! idk where you're going, but it'll be fantastic. especially if it's the dirt floors you want.
- Bealer & Shill! just some homies fr. y'all are the best. Heck yeah.
My challenges for you
- there is a person. I know they exist. I don't know who it is. But, I need you all to pray for them. so hard. that they will accept forgiveness, and give it out. please. That's all I can say, but Heavenly Father will know what you mean. mucho love to you all
