Exchanges with President Obama #16

If you never hear from me again, it's because Elder Hunt killed me because I wouldn't let him do the dishes on his birthday. Happy birthday Elder Hunt.

Not too much went on this week. The most eventful thing by far I would say is our exchange with the mission president, President Rees. Man that was scary. I love president, but he sets some hard expectations. Elder Hunt was definitely terrified for his life, he though Pres. picked us because he had done something wrong. Anyways, we picked him up, planned our lesson, drove and did the lesson, it was awesome, gave a blessing to the grandfather of the family, and then by then it was time to drive Pres. to his hotel and that was it. Thank goodness he didn't look in our area book planner, because our time slot with him was labeled "Exchanges with President Obama". That might have been a bit awkward.

Time for two truths and a lie! 1, I helped roof a house today, 2, I saw a dog today, and 3, I milked a goat today. I am sad to report that the lie is #2, but the day is still young and there are still dogs to be seen. But yeah anyways I milked a goat today so that was fun. I'll include a picture at the end.

Gave a talk in church on sunday, about making the sabbath day a delight. Those members had no idea what they had coming. The amount of talking about missionary work I was able to put in that talk was astounding. They better give us at least 17 referrals by the end of this week.

But in all seriousness, just love everyone. Be as kind as you can possibly be. That's the best way to do missionary work. Be an example, don't be afraid to share who you are and what you believe! The first step is always to love tho. Don't be like me and Elder Hunt, who had an hour long argument yesterday on if fire was dry or not. Don't even get me started on that one.

Anyways, there's a dope devotional on gospel library or churchofjesuschrist.org that's all about love, share, and invite. It's awesome. Pay close attention to Zion, he's so bomb at playing the recorder.

10. We had an investigator say she wanted to talk to us but she was at a rodeo. So we went to a rodeo for about 5 minutes at the end. It was epic. We also gave her a BOM, so also kina epic.

11. It may have rained really hard for about 20 minutes, and I may have stood out in it the entire time. Here's a collage of pics from it, because I already have way too many pictures on here.
